Product Overview

The Gausin Spin Flash Dryer dries pasty, sticky and filter-cake feeds in a single step. Feed is metered into a drying chamber where a rotating disperser breaks it up while a swirling stream of hot air flash-dries the fine particles.

A built-in classifier at the top of the chamber allows only sufficiently dry, fine particles to leave with the air, while heavier wet lumps remain until they are dried and reduced in size. This gives a consistent, fine powder without pre-drying or back-mixing.

The compact design replaces several pieces of equipment (pre-dryer, mill, dryer) with one unit. It is widely used for chemicals, pigments, starches, clays and pharma products in MS or SS 304 construction.

Feed Metering
