Product Overview

The Gausin Plate Type Evaporator uses corrugated stainless steel plates as heat transfer surfaces. Steam and process liquid flow in alternate channels for efficient, compact evaporation.

Low hold-up volume makes this design attractive for hygienic dairy and food processes where product quality and fast changeover matter. Gasketed or fully welded plate packs are offered based on application.

Integrated CIP circuits and compact footprint reduce plant space and cleaning time compared to large calandria evaporators. Optional Thermo Vapour Recompressor (TVR) integration compresses effect vapour for reuse as heating steam, improving steam economy on multi-effect plate evaporator systems.

How It Works

Feed Distribution
Process liquid distributed into plate channels at calibrated flow.
