How It Works

Pre-Heated Milk Inlet
Milk enters the deodorizer vessel at 65–78°C from upstream pasteurizer or dedicated pre-heater.

Vacuum Application
Vacuum pump reduces vessel pressure to 0.02–0.05 bar, lowering the boiling point of volatile compounds.

Steam Stripping
Live steam or flash evaporation strips off-flavors, feed taints, and odorous volatiles from the milk.

Vapour Condensation
Stripped vapours are condensed and removed; deodorized milk remains in the vessel at process temperature.

Deodorized Milk Outlet
Product exits with improved flavor profile for UHT milk, export dairy, whey, or premium liquid milk lines.
